Bizarre Weather

The weather here in Constanta has been rather bizarre this winter. The first year we were here went on record as the coldest in 53 years. I think last year beat it. Winter usually finds me wearing long sleeves under sweaters and warm fuzzy slippers with thick socks. Even then, I am lighting candles and sipping coffee or hot chocolate, attempting to take off the chill.

This year, we have seen a few days of near or below freezing temperatures and once we had a dusting of snow. Most days however have been in the 50’s and even the mid 60’s. Yesterday I was walking around the house barefooted. I don’t usually do that until July. The forecast promises that Winter is still hanging around. For now, I am enjoying these mild days.

Hope you like your new "home". I have contemplated making a cyber move as well, but the fear of the unknown has kept me planted at HSB. I tried another large blog site, but wasn't as familiar with their html so I couldn't make it do what I wanted.

I will subscribe to your feed so I won't miss what's going on in Romania.

Blessings,

Angela

I love the cold days, even though I am much like you, thick socks and something warm to drink is essential. I am enjoying your blog and have seen you on some of my friends blogs. Delurking today.

Karen - For some reason your RSS feed is not working here - and I can't pick you up on my reader -therefore I didn't know you had posted anything!
I just had confirmation that the move was a good one though - after six tries to get into your HSB blog - to find the link to this one (because the link wasn't working) I finally got it. Grrrr!
Anyway - I will catch up later - I just wanted to snag the no bake cookie recipe! Hee hee

Karen -
I tried adding you again but it just keeps listing it as (title unknown) and is not showing any of your posts. I'm sorry - I know it's a pain -
Wish I was more helpful in getting it figured out!

Hi Karen
The weather is extremely strange....thanks to us causing the global warming! I live in South Africa, and February is meant to be our HOTTEST month! The last 2 mornings have been quite cool. We have been searching our cupboards for slightly warmer clothes! Very weird!

Dear Karen,
Weather has been really strange here too. We've had much colder weather than we usually have, and more snow in this one winter than I recall from the past ten.
Praying that your heart is encouraged and uplifted today. Happy Valentine's Day. (I guess this is belated for you!)

Hey, that's not fair. We are almost the same latitudeally (is that a word), but you're a lot warmer. It's -5 here right now, but expected to have a heat wave of +20 to +30 this weekend. I'm looking forward to Spring too!
Warm Wishes, Jane
