Pictures of Romania
This is the last edition of Thursday Thirteen. Thank you Leanne for Hosting this fun meme. Too much is changing in my life right now . . .Here are 13 pictures of our first year here in Constanta. This is my first time to post pictures on this blog and for some reason, they would not go in the order that I wanted.
Hannah with a sampling of the abundance of apricots

Fun in the summer under the grape vines - John put the water hose up in the branches and the kids had a great time.

A nearby store that I send Gabe to. He can get just about anything that I might need - one brand, one size and three customers is a crowd!

A goofy picture of Holly but I thought it was a good one to show how we have to step over a threshold or pipes in many of our doorways.

The road from Bucharest to Constanta - This is why I always say that it's a 3-4 hour drive. We never know when we will be held at a standstill in traffic. At least this time there was a beautiful sunset to enjoy.

This is the container that we had our belongings shipped here in. A similar one will be here on March 5th.

Great pictures Karen -
Thanks for sharing! Your kids have changed a lot! When Hannah was smaller she reminds me of Holly!
Great pictures!
Thursday Thirteen has come to an end.
I have enjoyed my visits here and consider us friends.
Thank you for sharing your thirteens with me.
The comments you left me filled me with glee.
It is hard to believe it is really true.
I am trying very hard to not be blue.
Happy TT'ing!

Great pictures and good luck on the moves (the physical one and the one to Blogger!)
As for the last T13 I go out with a nice round number. My Thusday 13 #30 is up. It is ironically 13 Thursday Thirteen logos I made and used during the last 30 weeks. Stop by if you get a chance.
Great pictures.. Thanks for sharing!
Happy final TT!!
Thanks for sharing the pictures! The market reminded me a bit of a market I went to in Poland...except they seemed to have a fixation with shoes. Everyone was selling them!
That looks like a furry lovely place!
GREAT pictures Karen -
I can't imagine moving overseas and trying to fit our life into that 20' container. Okay, I'd take my school books - opps, no more room (lol). It really does make me think about what is really important.
Don't forget to bubble wrap your computer.
Hugs & Prayers, Jane
i've never thought of Romania looking that way, thanks for a new view. :)
What great pictures and memories for you all!
That was fun to look out. Thanks for sharing with us!
I'll miss your Thursday Thirteen!!
I love the pics. Thanks for sharing a picture of your life here. As for my last move, it would be October of 2005. We loaded up a rented moving truck and moved from Illinois to Colorado. The drive alone took two days. We also moved one house over last September, but most of our stuff was still packed, and so it was mostly done in a four-day period.
I loved seeing these pictures. Thanks for sharing them.
What a great way to end TT!
Thanks for stopping by my blog this morning...
I truly enjoyed seeing your pictures!
The grape vine arbor is really neat.
I love the pictures! Many of them (the grape arbor, the market, the store) remind me of our time overseas.
Blessings!

Great list, wonderful pics! Thanks for sharing.
I'm so glad T13 will continue that I'm doing an extra round. My TT shows 13 pics of me. I had a hard time posting them too!
Wow, looks like a neat experience you guys had -- despite your chaos now, I'm a bit jealous.
May the trip be smooth and may everything work out. Since TT is continuing (yay!), I hope we'll visit each other soon!
