As to #4, I understand you can get a DVD of a roaring fire! Now, incredibly, I do have a fireplace and I live in South Florida! Never used it...but it is architecturally lovely!

Those are certainly things to enjoy in the winter, except for coffee! I can't stand the stuff! But there's nothing like a mug of hot chocolate or a roaring fire on a cold winter's day. :) (Although we don't have a fireplace here in Munich.)

Happy T13. :)

That's a good list. I do love a nice fire in the fireplace - that would be my favorite.

our winter had been cold but not terribly snowy until this week. I could use those warm slippers right about now, and I don't even care how fuzzy they are! :) happy TT, mine's up!

Good morning, Karen! Great list; we have had a very cold winter with lots of nasty sleet & ice; it's 8 degrees this morning! I'm with you - I'm cheering on Spring! (I don't have a fireplace either, and this year we could really use one!) Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Thursday.

I love snowy/cold days because I have an excuse to not leave home. I hate going outside, lol.

it's really cold now here in VA, so I'm wearing the warm fuzzy slippers and drinking hot cocoa and wishing the snow and ice would melt. :)

I like to remember snow/winter.. but not live in it.LOL.

Actually today in FL it's a bit nippy. I've had my coffee and might break out the herbal tea after lunch.

Have a great day!

Wow! Thank you for choosing me to pray for this week! Please pray a couple things for me (1) I have a history of depression. I feel I'm falling under it's grip again. (2) That I will seek and sense God's guidance to order my hours and days. I'm a perfectionist and feel frustrated to not get it "all" accomplished. I seek balance of what to let go and what to accomplish.

By the way, I love these colors. Very nice looking blog!

Hey Karen -
YES - I did get you on my reader! Yay! Makes it so nice to be able to keep up.
Hey can you explain the Thursday Thirteen - and do you have to join - and how can you do that? Can someone jump in anytime? How do you know what to write lists about?

I can't believe I forgot you moved. I kept checking the RSS feed on google and it didn't show anything new for you. Now I know why. Old age catching up to me I guess. I did Thursday Thirteen too. Blessings.
