Answers to Prayer
I have been asked how I can blog when so much is going on. My answer is “How can I not?” This has been an awesome stress reliever and I have been so encouraged by comments left. The hardest physical work is over. Now we have the difficult part of saying goodbye.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed. We have found a wonderful home for Chloe, my daughter’s cat. A missionary that we are friends with in another city has been wanting an indoor cat. Chloe will be perfect for them and we know they will love her and take good care of her. The Lord has blessed us with the sale of our van. Also, the timing is perfect. We will be able to keep the van up until Friday. We will be staying with a friend who will take us to
Do you believe in answered prayer? Stick around for a while and see how God works in our lives. I believe in miracles.

I do believe in answered prayers. though sometimes it's not what I expected. But the Lord does know what is best for us. Glad, you found the cat a new home.
We are keeping your family in our prayers. Hopefully soon you will know where you will be living. please do keep us updated.
May God bless you and your family,

That is so awesome. Your prayer requests I mean. I will keep praying for you.
Dear Friends -
I KNOW that the second message here is spam - and that it does not reflect the thoughts or opinions of the Woodward family AT ALL. I wanted to post this comment in the hopes of protecting any incorrect idea you may get because of this comment. If I was able to delete it to protect my friends here - I certainly would. I have emailed Karen and John to let them know so they can get rid of it
This is one of the crazy dangers of cyber-life. How interesting the attack to her blog came as Karen was giving glory to God on this post!
Sincerely, Julie Forsythe a/k/a jewlsntexas
Looks like it is all starting to fall in place. I have been busy today, went to the Gideon mail box, the Baptist Mission, the bank and to help Charlie McAlpin, then to help my friend Bobby Sanderson, all in all a busy day while Dixie and the girls painted china.
Trusting that you were able to get some sleep and needed rest after all that packing and shipping the container.
Looking forward to seeing you all in a few more days.
God Bless,
Love,
Dad
I am enjoying watching God take you through such a time. Keep blogging!
Wow, you are certainly busy right now. And you are right, God does answer prayers.
Good luck with your move.
Thanks for visiting me today via the blog party...
Glad you are still blogging even with moving. Your blog is always interesting!
Okay - I hate to be freaking out - but I feel like someone just vandalized your cyber home- that comment is really getting to me. It is so hateful of someone to post something like that on your blog - someone who STANDS for Christ.
I am sorry - I know it will be disappointing to find that three of your comments are from me - but I am very very upset. I even went to church and came back and you still have not seen it! Ah!
I am glad to see that the second post was removed. Thank you, blog administrator!
It has been so very interesting to see the Lord working in your lives daily. He is so-o-o-o good! We will be watching as He continues to unfold His plan for you all in His perfect timing. I truely stand amazed.
We are so happy that you are going to be here soon. We are counting the days and soon will be counting hours.
Love to each of you,
Mom
I believe in answered prayers. I can't wait to see how many more will be answered for you as you transition. That's good news about the cat, must put your daughter at ease.
Isn't God Great! It is always fun to just stand back and watch God work His Will.
I know it must be hard saying good-bye to your friends & cat. God has good things in store for you.
(I'm glad I missed the spam message else I'd be as upset as Julie.)

Isn't it amazing how God cares even about our animals? We had to get rid of a dog because of allergies so we gave it back to where we got it (about 70 miles from our house) The kids started praying the Lord would give the dog to a home in our tiny town and they could see her again. When we got the email that a new home had been found they let us know that it "happened" to be in our town. The new owners did come for a visit, also. The Lord cares about it all. I've seen it over and over. Blessings to you.
Praying for you and your family Karen.
What a wonderful story of God's goodness this move will make someday...(an article or book maybe *wink*)
Love,
MelissaO~
Good-byes are SO hard! But they make us look forward to heaven even more. Won't it be wonderful to be with eachother at the feet of our Savior for all eternity. Let's try to take as many people with us as we can! :)
I'm so glad that you find/make the time to blog...it's such a testimony of God's repeated faithfulness and He has and will continue using it for His glory! May many come to know Him as a result!
He is a God who cares about cats, and vans, and.......because He cares about US!
Continuing to pray, and excited to see how He answers!
Blessings,
Angel
I find you a very extraordinary woman. God is so good to take care of what might seem to be a small thing. Many people may not look at the placement of the family pet as very important, but I would think that when you are leaving it so completely behind you need to really know it is well taken care of.
Blessings on you as you continue your journey.
I clicked on one of your comments at another blog, and I'm so glad I did! I love it here...and I'm thrilled to meet you via the bloggy network.
My daughter and I spent 2 weeks in Romania and Moldova on a short term mission 5 years ago, and we fell in love. She is committed to going back one day long term.
We'll be praying for you!
HI Karen
I have answered your question on my final party post......and am probably off to London tomorrow....husband has been poorly so can't go to monthly seminary and there is a train ticket begging to be used...but only if I get up at 5am!
I do believe in answered prayers! God is so good, all the time!
What a wonderful praise about finding a home for the cat.
