Our Trip Home
Our trip home to the states! Some of these things that didn’t occur on this trip are actual events from other Romania/Alabama trips that we have made. Click on the links (posted on my old blog) if you want to know the story behind it. 1. We did not have any long delays or layovers. This was our shortest trip ever!
2. We did not have any high winds in
3. We did not have anyone fall asleep so soundly on that plane that we had to stroll them through the airport in a wheel chair.
4. We did not have anyone to get an earring embedded in their ear.
5. We did not have to stop for gas. (This happened to us in 1999 – long before I heard of blogging.)
6. We did have flight attendant trainees on board. I’ve never had that happen before.
7. We had the same breakfast we had the last several times we flew: Pineapple yogurt, extra chunky fruit drink, granola bar and cheese and crackers. I wonder if frequent flyers get tired of the same old thing all the time?
8. At lunch time they ran out of chicken so we had pasta with spinach. It was OK.
9. We were glad that the
10. Going to DST gave us less time on our already short layover in
11. In our haste, John looked at the wrong flight to
12. We practically ran to the right gate and made it with only minutes to spare – hot and sweaty.
13. We are home safe and sound; thankful for a quick and mostly uneventful journey. We are blessed and grateful for your prayers.

Sounds like you guys had a great trip with plenty of memorable activities! :) Did you have fun?
Glad you made it safe and sound. I didn't realize AL was home. We called B'ham home before coming to the UK. Praying for easy or no jet lag.
Welcome home!

Welcom home and I am glad you had a safe journey! I didn't think Europe had Daylight Savings Time, it being such an American invention.
Thanks for visiting my T13 #33 13 Quotes About Men Edition
I'm going to have to read your blog so i can find out why you were in Romania. We just had a friend go there on a missions trip so I am interested to hear why you were there..
Welcome back! May God guide you as you receive new adventures in His Kingdom. Strength, wisdom, peace, and health for you all also.

Praising God for your safe trip home.

Glad your trip home went well.
Happy TT and thanks for visiting my list.
And to answer your question, apparently my green and black dishes do also come in red or blue. :-)
Wow! What a trip! I thought moving across the US was a challenge, but around the world??? I hope you take a few days off and put your feet up. Thanks for your visit to my TT!
I am glad you arrived in the states with no complications. I cannot imagine what is like for you to be gone a long period of time and then return. How long does it take to settle back in? Welcome home.
Girl - I am so glad to see y'all made it home. It was exciting to see your comment on my blog! I knew before I read it that meant you were home! WOO HOO!
I'll post my T13 later on!
Glad to hear you made it home safe and sound. It sounds like a mostly uneventful trip, except for the mad dash for the gate. ;)
I have to admit being a bit annoyed that North America went to DST two weeks before Europe this year. I have to remember that the time difference back to Ontario is only 5 hours instead of 6 until March 25th!
Thanks for stopping by and have a good day. :)
welcome back to the States. :)
It's been very nice getting to know you through the T13. I will see you next week.
have fun and I hope you get a moment or 10 to relax.
