Party Game #2

Here is an idea that I found on Firefly’s blog. I did this a few weeks ago with a letter that she assigned me. I have also seen this done where you use the first letter of your name. I didn’t think I could come up with anything besides ketchup and kidneys (both of which I am thankful for) but here are a few listed below. Let me know if you decide to play! You can also tell me your favorite thing that starts with K.

Here are a dozen things that I like that begin with the letter K:

Kids

Kindness

Kisses

King of Kings

Kittens

Kentucky

Key Lime Pie

Kindred spirits

King James Bible

Kneeling before the Throne of Grace

Kung Pao Chicken

Kristyn – my great niece

Thanks for stopping by my high school blog! Having comments there today was so encouraging. I hope that you are feeling peaceful during this move. I know this can be a stressful time, but God can give us His peace in the midst of it. By the way, if I'm listing what I love that starts with K then 'Karen W' goes right at the top of the list!

Karen, I just looked on your family's site and lo and behold, you were married on our 6th anniversary. We had 2 boys by then, with a third to follow in 1990. Blessings, sister!

Most likely, we will never all come back at the same time.

You know, I read an article once in Focus On The Family magazine. It was entitled "The Waver In The Window" and I never forgot it. It was about a dad reflecting on his youngest child's routine of waving to him in the window as he left for work each day; how his older children used to do it but eventually that "last time" came. He talked about not really realizing you're changing the last diaper ever. It just happens. Life moves us forward. God moves us homeward. And He is faithful to stengthen us for each new season. I just know there will be something new and wonderful for you to savor in the season to come. Still, I understand how hard it can be to say goodbye to a season that was filled with its own blessings. Praying for your family as I move on to the next party. And as your plane takes off from Romania soon, remember that God goes with you.
Blessings,
~Toni~
p.s. thanks for stopping by.

Fun idea!

I had to stop by because you've left a comment on pretty much EVERY party site I've visited. Good to know who the true life of it is. :-)
