The Weekend

Friday morning we all had a few hours of sleep. John had business to take care of with the selling of our van. It is a bit more complicated here than in the states.

We are staying here in Brasov with long time friends, Marius and Laura. Marius is a national Romanian pastor. His wife Laura invited Hannah and I to their ladies night on Friday. The theme was “An Evening for Princesses”. Everyone had an opportunity for a makeover, we were all given crowns, made by some of the ladies in the group, there was a message on Esther and plenty of good food.

Hannah and Laura

Saturday was a day to relax and that is about all that we did. Sweet rest! Today we attended service with Marius and Laura. John gave the message. This afternoon we will go out for a bit. Hannah wants to take some pictures for her photo blog. The Photo Hunters assignment this week is architecture. I am sure we’ll find something interesting in this very old city!

What a fun way to spend the evening. So glad you had an opportunity to relax among all the craziness of moving.

"An Evening for Princesses"
I like it. I might have to try it sometime for friends. We met during the blog party. I have been coming back to find out how you and your family are faring. I also want you to know I have now joined Blogger. My other site would not allow for comments unless you were a member and I understand that does not work for all. Bless you during this transition time. Visit me sometime.

Sounds like a lovely day, Karen! Although I have three boys, I've always been invited to the mother/daughter sleepover at our church...too bad circumstances have prevented me from going the past few years. But I'm hoping THIS will be the year where I can stay up all night, talk, play games, make crafts and eat lots of cookies!

Love,
Marsha

My, what a beautiful girl! Of course, I already knew she is beautiful but that is one of the best pictures I have ever seen of her. She looks so "grown up" in this picture.
