My husband John and I have been married for 21 years as of April 2008. We have 3 children- two teens and a 10 year old and have been homeschooling for most of their lives. We have spent the last 10 years in the ministry as missionaries to Romania. We returned from the field in March of 2007 and are trusting the Lord as He continues to guide us on this next step of our journey.
Gosh it seems like nearly every day we hear of something like this. It's such an awful and sad comment on what our society is turning into. People who have no direction and feel they have no choices. If only they knew God!
Okay - we have tickets to go there with our guests. That's pretty close tho home. I am on my way to officially becoming a hermit. What does the Bible say about that my "well-versed" friend? I already know - but could you help me find a loophole?
Oh no....I didn't know about this. I guess we really shouldn't be surprised, but it sure does feel like we can't go anywhere nowadays without worrying about who is going to snap. Glad that I know the Lord, I can't imagine thinking like that without Him.
I just wanted to come by and see how you were and what you were up to. i hope you are doing well. And yes, i know what you mean, i hope our Lord returns soon!

Maranatha:
A combination of the two Aramaic words maran and atha. Maranatha means "Our Lord is coming/has come"
When my dear friend lost her 15month old in January, we both were calling out "Marantha" - Lord come quickly.
I don't think it's to far off, but it's so hard to see such craziness like this.
May you feel God's presence abudantly today.
