LOST - Season Finale

SPOILER ALERT! LOST fans, do not read if you haven’t seen tonight’s episode!

I don’t usually say much about LOST but tonight I will. I must say that I am disappointed and now I do not mind at all waiting until the fall to see more. Watching LOST tonight was like reading a book that you hope will have a happy ending but it doesn’t. I have to admit that I cried. One of my favorite characters died, just like Desmond constantly predicted he would. I was sure that it was just too predictable and there would be some surprise turn of events, but sadly, no. It happened just the way Desmond envisioned it. I liked Charlie. Although he had a messed up past like everyone else on the island, he became a better person in spite of his circumstances and temptations there on the island. LOST is famous for all the flash backs but what was with the flash forward?

I am going to bed and I am going to remind myself that this television show is fantasy, just a silly book that we are reading together. This book had a rotten ending and it didn’t leave me with the “I can’t wait until the next one comes out” feeling. What about you? Do I have any LOST fans reading my blog?

What was UP with that?
It was a weird finale. I kept hoping that Charlie wouldn't die too - I don't understand why once the pressure was off he didn't swim out the window. Ugh. We were so so so sad. I also can't believe what happened to Jack. He made a mistake? Where will they go from here?
I am the opposite - I want to see what happens next RIGHT NOW!

OK since my d is still away I could not share the oast episode with her. So I am glad you wrote. I can also admit crying about Charlie esp. when Clair's baby started crying right then. There I sat alone watching it and sobbing like an idiot. I was sad too to think that maybe the future for them is not going to be better but we won't know till the very end. This show keeps us guessing. We will repeat together ten times "This is not real, this is not real, ...." Blessings. http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/abiga51

I'm not a HUGE fan, but when there's nothing else to do, my DH and I have caught a few.. including last nights.

That was a wierd one. Why was Jack so flipped out in the future and why didn't Desmond run out the door and shut it behind him - if the other guys was safe.. wouldn't he have been too.

I saw on a tv show somewhere that the writers weren't expecting the show to be a HUGE hit and they have been making it up as they go along. Don't know if that's true...

Have to say that I don't watch it- if I don't start watching a show like that early on, I figure that I won't know what is happening if I start watching it later. Sorry it wasn't more satisfying. These things are not reality, but still, we like to have our fantasies about happy ever after!

Didn't Jack say in the forward flash that if they brought his father down and he was more drunk than he was that they could fire him at the hospital? What was that about!

It was kind of disappointing. I didn't think Charlie had to die. He didn't have to shut himeself in that silly little room.

Yes, i watch. heheh

I was also disappointed at the amount of violence last night.

I'm extremely intrigued as to what happened between the satellite call and the flashforward to push Jack to the edge. So, I guess I'm still watching until the end!

Thanks for commenting and adding your link to my blog/Mr. Linky!

p.s. I'm so disappointed Charlie had to go! :(

I can't wait until next season to find out what happens *grin*
I actually thought that Charlie might not die when Desmond ended up going down into the looking glass so I was sad to see him go. And what is up with that eye patch dude! He just won't die!! Wonder what is up with John to now that the island seems to be talking to him and sent him on a mission. And the flash forward thing was really weird. I thought that Jack's dad was dead?? It sounds like he's alive in the future, and who's Kate with? Sawyer? I have sooo many questions and I want them answered now! Hahaha, I'm so impatient *grin*

I know, I feel like the finale was kind of haunting! Maybe it's good we have 8 months to get over it.

It *is* hard to remember that it's *just* fiction, huh!

(thanks for visiting me, too! can't wait to look around your blog!)

Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog! I am a big Lost fan! The finale left me really scratching my head with confused feelings. Bummed Charlie died, loved the beach scene at the end and depressed over Jack. I want Jack and Kate to live happily ever after. Who is in that coffin?! I can't wait until next season, hoping for some good news.

Great blog, I added you to my google reader.
blessings,
Kristee
