Melting in the Heat
Today was more packing and loading the truck. Temperatures were above 100 degrees. Did I ever mention that I melt in the heat? Extreme temperatures always give me a headache. I took a pain reliever before going outside but to no avail. We still have more work to do. Tomorrow we will go to the storage building EARLY in an attempt to work in the cool of the day – if such a thing exists in this Alabama summer. Wow! I cannot believe we have less than 36 hours. I need to go to bed and get some sleep!

Oh, Karen..it doesn't help that these last two days have been record high heat either. :(
I was out in it for awhile and couldn't stand it..I do think that tomorrow is supposed to be a *little* bit better.
So bummed out that I never got to see you face to face while you were in our shared state...:(
Praying for you over the next few days!
It's exciting to follow your journey. I look forward to hearing more about it when you get settled. What kind of work/ministry are you guys moving to? (I'm sorry if I missed that part.) Eat more ice cream to stay cool. :-)
Be blessed!
I will sign you up for the More of Him, Less of Me study! However, it sounds like you might sweat away 20 pounds in that heat! I don't envy you - that is what we were doing - loading things into and out of storage TWICE last summer! Ugh.
Praying for a cool breeze to blow your way.
Love - Julie
