Still Packing

I am also excited about getting involved in a homeschool support group. Of course I have to find one first. There is a homeschool conference towards the end of July that I would like to go to. I haven’t had the opportunity to attend one since 1995. Of course that will all depend on our financial situation. Moving is not cheap and a trans-Atlantic move costs several thousand dollars.
John was able to get the moving van a day early at no extra cost. So we will start loading some things tomorrow. I am hoping to go through some of the boxes and leave things in storage that we won’t need in an apartment. I don’t like to wish time away but I just can’t wait until Wednesday. We will probably still be swimming in a sea of boxes but at least we will be moved in and on our way to getting settled.

Wow that is one quick move : ) How nice for your son though to have a boss with connections *grin* Keeping you in my prayers that your packing and sorting will not be to difficult and that you will be able to get everything ready to go by Monday. Best wishes for the move and safe travels. I'll keep watching your blog to see when you arrive safely : )
Blessings,
Rosina
I had never heard of Chick-fil-a until earlier today, when I read it on someone else's blog- Comfy Denim's, I think.
I went to a conference for the first time and really enjoyed it!
I can understand why you are looking forward to getting settled!
Karen,
Praying for you on your move eastward. I am so glad that your boy will be able to transfer to the Chic-Fil-A in Va. We used to live in Va Beach when Mark was in the Navy and we loved it there. :)
BTW, I am moving from HSB to blogger so that I can be with all my friends! My new address is:

Best wishes on that moving thing! Ugh - it can be so overwhelming.
Are y'all gonna look into buying a house there?
Dear Karen,
Wow that was amazingly fast! I am happy for you that you will have a place of your own and pray that all goes well for you. But I am sure you will miss family too.
We ate at our first Chick-fil-a last month while vacationing in Florida - LOVED IT. I knew I would - I love Truett Cathy and his stand for keeping the Lord's Day. I especially love their fresh squeezed lemonaid. Happy for your son! There is only 2 Chick-fil-a's in MN, neither of which is anywhere near us. Will be praying for you!
