The Darkness Before the Dawn
I have always heard that it is darkest just before the dawn. I hope that the saying applies to my apartment and unpacking. I don’t know what the square footage was on our house in Romania. It was the largest place we ever lived in. Add to that the things we had stored at my mom and dad’s home and you end up with way too much stuff in an apartment with only 1200 square feet. I felt like we accomplished a lot yesterday but when I looked around at the end of the day, there were still numerous items needing a place to call home. At least we have closets here and drawers in my kitchen; we didn’t in Romania. I’ll be giving you a tour when it’s all done – hopefully soon!

We're still trying to get used to the fact that there is only one bathroom, but we're managing....somehow?!
Can't wait for the tour.

Yay! The tour, the tour!
I have been waiting for pictures of the new place!
Our house in WV that you stayed at was less than 1000 square feet if that makes you feel better - although we did have a basement - and that was a great junk collector!
I am great at putting a lot of stuff into a small space. I wish I could come and help you out! Through the years people have told me I didn't have room for a piano, or a shelf or a bed or a whatever - and we always managed to figure it out!
Thank you for stopping by and for your prayers. I'm feeling better these past couple days. The Lord's healing is at work.
I will be praying for you as you get settled. Remember to give yourself a break and walk away from the boxes every now and then and go explore VA.
I look forward to the tour!
Blessings,
Janne
