The most excited 4th grader
Holly's teacher - "She looks just like I imagined!"
Holly's name tag on her desk. There are 21 students in her class. With a last name beginning with W, my kids are usually at the end of the list. I was just the opposite growing up.

Yay Holly!
She is such a cute 4th grader!
I am so glad you liked that video Karen - we had lots and lots of tears here too - and when Travis got home from work, we showed him - and he even choked up.
It blessed me and I am glad to pass it on.
Holly looks so cute in the outfit she chose for her special day. It looks like she is going to be very happy in that room.
School is cool!
I'm so glad that Holly is excited about school-- teacher, classroom, everything! I am excited for her. Talk about bringing back memories... :-)

PS Okay, so my bloglines had the entries listed oldest first instead of newest first... so ignore my comment on a previous post.
She looks adorable! (Is it still acceptable to call a 4th grader adorable? I hope I haven't insulted her.)
I'm praying that it's a wonderful year!
Blessings,
Angel
Wow, school starts Tuesday! Holly is a doll and I love her new haircut; her new teacher looks pretty cool too. You guys have a fun holiday weekend and I'll be looking forward to all the "new school" news :)

Congratulations Holly! The first shall be last and the last shall be first! Matthew 19:30
But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
Matthew 19:29-30
God Bless you as you start a new adventure in your life.
Love,
Pappa Andy
Thanks for the comment on my blog.
I can't remember how I first found your blog...probably from a list on someone else's blog. : ) I was intrigued at first because you guys were missionaries, then because you moved to Virginia. When your library opened at the same time ours did, I got curious, and when you wrote about the mall I knew we must live pretty close. It's a small world - even in blog land. : )
I'm glad Holly is excited. I have fond memories of fourth grade, too. It will be a great year for her!
I hope school and the 4th grade will be a rewarding experience for Holly. I remember being nervous about 4th grade because we had to make the transition to the hall with the "big kids". It was also the first year that my sister and I were at the same school.
God bless,
Tammy
