Too Hot!

Currently At 3:22PM

Sunny

100°F
RealFeel®
112°F

It's hot. Too hot. I don't know how many days of 100+ degrees we have had. More than enough. Poor Gabe was outside yesterday afternoon in his polyester Chick Fil A uniform unloading a truck. When I went to pick him up at 4 PM he was absolutely soaked and literally dripping.

Today we took Holly to get her physical that is required for school. Just going a short distance from the car to the door of the building was miserable. I am so looking forward to fall.

How is the weather where you live?

It is 13 degrees celcius here in NZ - I'm not sure what that works out as in Fahrenheit. Winter is coming to it's end, the sun is shing, it's crisp but bright and the birds are singing. How are you managing with the heat over there?

Oh, my. I wish I were in NZ.
Of course, we have the "heat index". So we're anywhere from 105 - 110. And it's sticky. I do not envy anyone out in polyester.

I'm way behind in my comments. THANK YOU! So much for your comment about schedules. I think my Mini-Me is like your kids. It doesn't matter exactly WHEN something is going to happen just as long as she knows it's coming. ;-) Thank you!! I was really encouraged by the way you wrote about your experience. It made me realize that I didn't need to have every MOMENT scheduled. *L* Because, that just isn't happening!!!

So glad the magnets made it there safely, that's awesome. It gets down to about 2 or 3 celcius in the North Island of NZ where we are, but the South Island which has the very alpine like mountains and lakes can get very cold and into the minuses. It's like 2 countries in one!

In the Netherlanda it's about 20 degrees celcius, grey, rain.

We've had a bout 3 sunny days this vacation, the rest was grey.
Such a pitty for the children.

In Indiana we are in the mid-90's with humidity in the upper 60%, making it sticky. I am starting to feel like it is February when I can't wait for the weather to change. We are also not getting any rain here, so it makes things seem hotter! But I am not complaining. (lol)

you really should come up here with Kathleen and I for a break! The high temp for the next few days is 21 c and we have a lovely breeze off the water, even when it is warmer.
