My husband John and I have been married for 21 years as of April 2008. We have 3 children- two teens and a 10 year old and have been homeschooling for most of their lives. We have spent the last 10 years in the ministry as missionaries to Romania. We returned from the field in March of 2007 and are trusting the Lord as He continues to guide us on this next step of our journey.
Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
Proverbs 27:1
We went to Bible Study tonight. When we arrived home, I checked my email and found out about this and this . Yes, this is the Chick Fil A that Gabe worked at when we lived in Alabama, just five weeks ago.
That bridge collapse was unbelievable! The link in your email didn't take me to the FIRE for the Chick-fil-a - wow. I bet Gabe was a bit shaken about that. I remember when we heard our favorite movie theater in WV had burned down - a friend sent me the newspaper article - and I was astounded. It was a strange feeling.
Karen, I have a miracle right here in my house. Grace got off work that day at 3:15 and was enroute home when we got the word, but she was not reachable for a few minutes (because she was obeying her parents and not talking on the phone and driving) and the fire had started while she was coming home. She could have been there and hurt badly...thank you Lord for you many blessings on me:) love ya'll Mitzi Oaks
Very scary. I am glad that Gabe wasn't still there.
Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Proverbs 27:1 That was the last verse I read this morning in my reading,I ended in ch 26 but it caught my eye and I was lingering on it for a while, and the first thing I read upon my blog-surfing. Guess I will ponder upon it some more.

Pretty scary stuff. I guess Gabe is happy you all moved!
I guess these things can be good for our perspective. They remind us of the brevity of life.
I am glad that all is well with your family.

Wow, I'm glad no one was hurt in that fire!
The bridge...what a tragedy.
