First Day Jitters
Holly, the planner, had her evening carefully scheduled. We had a busy day including a church picnic where she swam (played in the pool) for most of the 6 hours that we were there. We came home and relaxed for a moment. She had a sandwich, a shower and got ready for bed. Her clothes that she had decided on days ago were laid out. Then came the hard part – actually falling asleep. We did everything we could to try to get her to sleep. Three hours later she walked into the living room in tears because she couldn’t sleep. I held her for a while and she decided that she was ready to go back to bed. I tucked her in with the promise of checking on her soon.
She finally fell asleep.

Thanks for visiting Karen. I just went to look at the packet of Caster Sugar. It could have a different name in the States I guess. It is basically a white cane cooking sugar. Hope that helps. These were very tasty goodies.
She sounds like one excited girl! Hope her first day is everything she is looking forward too. I will say a prayer for her tomorrow.
I bet she does great in school. Please keep us posted as to how it went.
How I remember those feelings! I hope all goes well for her :-)
Aw - sweet girl.
I hope we'll see lots about that great first day! I know everybody will love her - Miss Dynamic Personality that she is!
