The First Day
Holly's first day went well even if it was a bit on the boring side in her opinion. Passing out books and learning the rules cannot be but so interesting. She has already made a couple of friends. I knew it wouldn't take her long. She is hoping that the seating assignment will be rearranged so she can sit by them instead of the "most annoying boy in 4th grade." Her favorite thing so far - besides eating lunch with friends - is her own personal agenda notebook. Her only homework this afternoon was to give me a stack of forms to read and sign.
Holly diligently filled out her information on the first page of her agenda. Clothes are once again laid out. I am going to read to her and pray she goes to sleep sooner than last night.

I LOVE how organized she is
Congrats, Holly on Day 1! It will get more fun and lots less boring - I promise. Hope you meet lots of terrific new friends.
Note to Karen: You've raised a real live doll here :)
Have a fabulous week,
DK
Hopefully day 2 was more exciting for her and brought less "homework" for you! It is great that she is so organized.
Oh, she looks so precious and hard at work! Bless her heart!
For some reason, your blog is SO SLOW to load on my computer, and sometimes even locks it up. Grrr!!! For that reason, I don't check in as often as I'd like to, but I do have you on my bloglines, so I know what's going on.
Wow, I could use some of that organization around here!
