Updates

My substitute orientation meeting went fine on Monday. I did have to have a TB test because I was considered "at risk" since I lived in Eastern Europe recently. This morning I had to go back and have it checked by a nurse. Thankfully it was negative and the biggest bother was just going all the way over to the board of education building for the second time this week. It's actually only 14 miles away but I have to get on three different interstates to get there. One of the joys of living in a big city. The good news is, I should be able to begin subbing soon.

Other updates- Holly's finger is fine. It's still bruised and is now a slightly brighter blue but she says it doesn't hurt. She's still hoping to sell her Leap Pad. She has big plans for her money! I think that's about it. Life is going by too quickly to remember anything else! How is your week going?

I hope that you get a subbing job soon. I'm glad things are going well. Life is so busy this time of the year. Have a pleasant week.

Glad you are all cleared to teach. What ages/grades do you like teaching the best. I have training for preschool supervising, but am not blessed with working with age groups above gr 3.

Ricky sold his on E-bay a couple of years ago. OK - I was his listing agent. But it went quickly.
Maybe you and Holly can try that route. Or Craigslist.org - there are no listing fees for that and it is local to your area so you might not have to worry about shipping.

Glad to hear all is well at your house. The Leappad sounds like a good deal - I just don't have anyone in the right age bracket for that. I had to laugh at your history question - I'm guessing ND history would take about 1 paragraph (I wonder if HSB has anyone from there?). MN has lots of indians and French fur traders coming down from Canada in our past; Ft. Snelling; but much of our history is from the late 1800's - early 1900's, not too exciting. Our history books would probably focus on the Mississippi River and other topography more. And then there is Paul Bunyan of course - he's real, isn't he?
