An Accomplished Goal

Hannah and I went out shopping yesterday in the very warm, spring-like weather. It was nearly 80 degrees. Being on the second floor of an apartment building, we haven't even turned on our heat, not even when the temperatures have dipped into the 20's. Yesterday and today I have had to open windows. I won't complain and neither will my electric bill!

Today I was able to accomplish my goal of not going anywhere. Life has been busy lately and I have been out every day and evening for too many nights in a row. Today, I slept late, stayed at home, worked on a project with Holly and basically relaxed. I am ready to get back to real life now - I think. How was your day?

Thank you for the comment you left on my blog. It has grieved me that people don't even seem to notice that this has happened. I'm glad you had such a nice day with your daughter. It's been warm here too, until tonight when it got cold and rainy. Someone forgot to tell the weatherman that we don't have winter here, lol.

Sounds like a lovely day, Karen! And one of much needed rest and refreshment.

Hmmm... I have spent more time in bed today than I have in FOREVER. But that is because Dozer's stomach bug got passed to my oldest who turned it into super-powerful-bug and gave it to me. Ack. and Ick!

But I've slept a lot (maybe too much to sleep tonight) and watched more TV than I have all year! The best of a bad situation, I suppose.

I hope tomorrow is even better for you, my friend! I'm so glad you're home. :-) I'm sure you were very missed.

Love,
Marsha

And...you're blogging!
I have definitely missed my time with the Woodwards! :)
I hope you do get to rest from the chaos of the last few months.

And aren't apartments great for electricity? They stay so well insulated.
