Countdown to the New Year (a meme)
If you came looking for me on January 1st of 2007 in the cyber world, you would have found me on another blog. In the real world I was on a different continent. I've seen a lot of changes in the past 365 days. Here's a fun meme that I found on Heidi's blog. I thought I'd try it out. Let me know if you do it too.
1) Look back to your archives for 2007.
2) Collect the first sentence you wrote every month for the whole year. (This doesn't have to be the literal first day of the month--just the first post.)
3) Entertain us on your blog, link back here, and post a comment here with the link to your blog. (And if you're blogless, just remember the first sentence you spoke every month for the whole year and post it here.)
January - New Year’s resolutions are usually broken faster than they are made.
February - My life seems to be about moving.
March - I love parties.
April - Voting begins today for Julie's Quirky Quote Qontest.
May - I began my first blog nearly two years ago.
June - In honor of my 100th post on my new blog here are 100 Things About Me!
July - I have always heard that it is darkest just before the dawn.
August - Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Proverbs 27:1
September - Holly, the planner, had her evening carefully scheduled.
October - How many times have you heard or said . . .
(See the video here)
November - I found out today that the teacher, who had a c-section, will return either on Dec. 3rd or Dec. 10th.
December - I just have three days left and right now I am too tired to be excited about it.
I wonder how this will look in 2008? Well, I've got the first sentence completed anyway! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
