Goals for the next 2 weeks
John and Gabriel left this morning on a mission trip. They are going to spend 12 days in the beloved country of Romania ministering to those we won to Christ and reaching out to friends yet unsaved. Part of me longs to be there with them, seeing friends once again. The rest of me is glad to avoid the long trip and inevitable jet lag. The girls and I will miss the men being gone, (Gabriel is hardly a boy anymore.) but we have some plans and goals to accomplish during this time. Here are a few of mine:

Hi Karen, how goes it? ARe you lonely yet?
Here is a french braiding tip - avoid pulling hair upwards as you braid, try and keep it going in straight (horizontally) and you will avoid the loose braid that ends up falling apart.
Here is a french braiding tip for your daughters - never anger the person who is holding your hair!
Enjoy your girl time.
I can't wait for LOST to start! Although it has been nice to have nothing worth watching on TV...
Consider your husband & son prayed for. Oh, I remember French braiding my oldest daughter's hair - it esp. came in handy when she was growing out her bangs and I would to a small FB to keep the hair out of her eyes - pulling it back with some of the longer strands.
