Show and Tell Friday - French Braiding

fridaysntcanadagirl

On Monday, I made a list of things I want to accomplish while John and Gabe are away. Here is my progress so far:

  • Organize paper work - working on it
  • Learn to French braid - Done! See pictures below.
  • READ! Currently reading The Power of Crying Out
  • Blog more often - I've managed to do an entry each day. Better than my previous once or twice a week.
  • Watch LOST - Done!
  • Begin writing my book
It came out a little too puffy on one side and not quite perfect but there's hope! Maybe between now and Sunday I can do a better job.

Great job on the French braid! It looks like Holly is really happy about it too! I have been wanting to read that book too. Ever since I heard a little bit about it, I really have noticed all the times in the Bible where someone will "Cry Out to God". You will have to tell us about it when you are done.

I've never been very good at braiding... I always have too many lumps and then it veers too far to one side! Oh well. It's not like I have the right gender of child to practice on! ;-)

I finally watched LOST last night. It's so nice to have one really amazing show to look forward to every week!

I've always wanted to be able to french braid, but it's never turned out right for me. It looks good on her!

Nice Job !!!

I wish I had a little girl to do up her hair. I use to all the time when I worked at a daycare. I always dreamed of doing my little girls hair. Maybe I will have a gd someday. ((praying)) [0;

I don't know if you braided her hair wet or dry, but I always braided mine when it was wet. That seemed to really help keep it tight.

Hubs & I are Lost junkies, too. It's great to have it back! :D

Your French braid is certainly better than any I've ever (attempted to) braid. Even a regular braid can turn out lumpy if I'm the one braiding.
