CVS Deals
If you haven't seen me around the blogosphere lately, you might try looking at CVS. A friend of mine clued me in to the great deals there. Here's what I brought home today for $2.43 out of pocket:

2 Kellogg's cereals @ $1.50 each
Irish Spring Soap (3 pack) .97
Cascade dishwasher tablets 3.49
2 Colgate Toothpastes @2.99 each
Excedrin - (Buy 1 Get one free) 4.69
**
$5/$15 CVS coupon
.30 coupon on Irish Spring
.50 coupon on Cascade
9.97 ECB's (Extra Care Bucks)
Tax was a whopping .07. I don't know why I was only charged 2.5% when tax here is 5%. Oh well. I also earned $6.98 in ECB's for my next trip. I can't wait to find out what's on sale in April! Check out Money Saving Mom to learn more.

I've been learning this game too. I've been having fun finding things really cheap with coupons. I need to practice more with the ECB.
We have a Walgreens close by and sometimes they are a lot cheaper then CVS on the same item and it's just easier going there then playing the CVS game.
So I'm still learning.
Glad you got some good deals!
Hey! That looks pretty neat! I'm going to check that out.
I laughed so hard at your comment over on my blog about your son reading.
When my daughter was 5 she was learning to tell jokes-she had this one joke that she did over and over with different variations.
Where did the cow go on a Saturday night? To the Moovie house.
So she tried it with a pig. Where does a pig go on a Wednesday night? To the oink oink house.
I have no idea why she stuck in the double animal sound. At any rate after many different animals and days of the week, she came up her final variation.
Where did the horse go on a Tuesday night? To the hor-se hor-se house. (emphasis mine so you can see how she said it.)
I was driving at the time and I nearly choked! I looked at her to see if she realized what she had said. Nope, she was in complete ignorance it was all about the joke. I told her that was it, no more of this joke.
Abiding in the Vine!
