Open Windows
I was feeling just fine. Then on Tuesday at precisely 7:45 PM it hit me all at once. I was sitting quietly at Bible study at a friend's house when suddenly my eyes started burning, my throat started tickling and my nose became all stuffy. I've been afflicted with this ailment since then but I have moments when I feel completely better, leaving me to believe I am on the road to recovery. Minutes later, I feel horrible again. Also, I seem to get worse each time I venture outdoors. Is this allergies? I have been out of the country for so long and out of this state even longer that I do not know what to expect in the spring. The weather's been nice and my windows are open. Enjoying the breeze has been pleasant, especially on my pocketbook, but it is not worth feeling so rotten. This is the third time this year that I have been sick. I'm trying to determine if it's getting used to new surroundings or being in the schools around so many colds. Ugh! Sorry to whine . . . How's life in your neck of the woods? Are your windows open?

Hope/Praying you are feeling better soon.
We've had our a/c on for months! It's been in the 90s here. Sounds like allergies... darn, pesky, irritating things. Or as Dash says, "Mom, I think I have The Allergies."
Hope you feel better soon! I like to drink hot tea with honey and lemon. I don't know if it really helps my allergies much, but it's a nice treat nonetheless!
Oh dear...
That does sound like allergies, (at least - that's what happens to ME during this time of year.)
But, I'm actually grateful for them - because it means that our snow is finally gone! ;-)
Hope you feel better soon!

Oh Karen - I can so relate! We were miserable about a month ago when our AC went out - and Kullen and I couldn't breathe. For us allergies = asthma attacks! Yuck.
I hope you feel better soon.
I know the diagnosis you would've recieved a couple of years ago...
Cu-rent!
Hi Karen! Girl, that most certainly is allergies. Big time. I have them year round and - believe it or not - winter is my worst time; that's when the cedar trees do their thing. Start yourself a little journal so you can see a symptom pattern and figure out your triggers. An air purifier would help a ton, too. You hang in there; I'll be praying for you!

I have been sharing what my hubby does for his allergies. Go to a health food store and get Stinging Nettle tincture. Take a squirt full once or twice a day. I will confirm that but it has REALLY helped my hubby. We leave the windows open.
Sending blessings and ((HUGS))
