Blessed
I don't know what tomorrow holds but I am blessed by today. Being at home with my kids. Preparing for their friends to come over. Shopping at Walgreens. Spending $15 and saving $16. Making a favorite meal. Listening to Gabriel vent about work. I am blessed to have a 17 year old son that wants to come and talk to me - about the good and the bad. Smelling cupcakes that Hannah and her friend baked. Listening to Holly and her friend giggle. Oh the things I would miss if we had a bigger house!

It is so true!
I love it - as long as there is a little space just for me when I need it - even if that is in the bathroom!
Those are TRUE blessings!! Dinner sounds delish...may try that this week if the weather stays in the low 90's.
If you make a summer journal and post about it, be sure and let me know.
Also, in case you're interested...we've been doing a new Week in Review the past couple of weeks...it's been great fun. Feel free to join in if you like. The template link is on my left column.
Thanks, Karen... you totally made me smile.
While our house is roomy (except the stinkin' laundry room where I can't even open the dryer door all the way), it is not too big... and I love hearing the kids laugh or talk to one another (even if it requires hearing fights sometimes-- at least they're communicating! LOL).
Amen! i love having a little inky teensy house. I always know where everyone is. And I love having teenagers, too. I will be sad when they are gone
That was really nice to read.
