FOR TODAY June 2, 2008...
Outside My Window... the sun is shining brightly and there’s not a cloud in the sky!
I am thinking... that I am so glad that I heard from a long lost friend this week – a former college roommate. Actually, I think I was the one that was lost. She stayed in the same spot! It was good to hear from her.
I am thankful for... every day the Lord gives me.
From the kitchen... John made Boca burgers for lunch. They were good but I prefer beef.
I am wearing... denim shorts and a white top.
I am creating... a list of used books to sell at the homeschool convention this weekend.
I am going... to our state’s homeschool convention. It is the first one that I have been able to go to since 1995.
I am reading... about all the different speakers at the convention and trying to decide which ones I cannot miss. Tough decisions!
I am hoping... and praying that I sell a lot of books.
I am hearing... the TV. Hannah and Holly are watching Funniest Home Videos.
Around the house... there is much to be done. I really need to work on the clutter . . .
One of my favorite things... Brownies - I could use some chocolate right now.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Finish my list for the used book sale, work on Girl Scout badges with Holly, continue writing My Story, go to the homeschool convention, attend Holly’s play at church.

I went to the homeschooling convention last year. We went b/c Ken Hamm was speaking, not because we intended to homeschool, but we went with friends who are homeschooling their daughter.(We also met up with Michael's cousins from Newport News who homeschool 7 kids between the two of them.) It was a lot of fun. We went to a few different classes as well and learned some things that I was able to apply to Brenna. We aren't going this year, but my friends are. I hope you have a good time!
Is that an actual notebook you have? Good idea to collect your thoughts. I am off to a homeschool conference this weekend too. I am excited!
I'll be in Richmond for the convention too!! I would love to run into you.
And I'm looking at all the classes too. Find any good ones?
Hey Karen, Welcome to the Daybook!!! Nice job on your first one! I hope you have fun at the Convention and sell all your books. That's my goal for this summer - sell 2 full boxes of books. Have a great week my dear!!!
I knew someone who went to a homeschool convention and thought it was really great. They had a blast and got so much great products. Have fun.
