I am a Winner!
We had a great time at the bridal shower. I was surprised to see so many there for such a small church. Hannah made pizza dip and it was a
huge success. Just before we ate, we played a word scramble game. I love word games and zoomed through it rather quickly. One word under the household items category had me stumped. I spent most of my time trying to figure it out. ofamrefeeck I was the third person to figure it out after another lady and the bride to be. We won a pair of candle holders.I also won another contest. Heidi held a random drawing for tickets to The Heart of the Matter Online Homeschool Virtual Conference. I am not nearly as good with random drawings as I am with word games but it seems that I'm getting better. This looks like it's going to be a great conference.
Did you figure out ofamrefeeck? Did it take you very long?

I have to control my competetiveness when it comes to bridal and baby shower games. It's sad, really it is!

Congrats on winning! I'm sure the bride-to-be was very blessed with the warm welcome and encouragement from people that she doesn't even know (yet).

Those candle holders look interesting. ARe they the kind for short tea lights, or for tall candles? How tall are they? ARe you going to tell us the answer to the puzzle?

Congratulations on your winning streak! But that word would have really stumped me. They made it look too phonetic in its scramble.
