All By Myself

John and the kids are still gone. It's so lonely around here. It's the kind of quietness that makes me want to sing silly songs out loud. Songs like "All By Myself" and "I'm so Lonely I Could Cry". Only, I can't even sing - not right now with my raspy voice. I thought about putting those songs on my blog, but I'll spare you. Just stop by and say hello. I promise I won't sing.

I'll sing back to you:" Are You Lonesome Tonight, da, da, da da, da da...I forget the rest of the words... It is 8 pm my time, so you are probably already asleep, but hopefully you had a nice evening, even if you were by yourself.

Sorry about your voice. I hope you're feeling better soon. Take advantage of the quiet and get some rest. :)

Hugs,
Amanda

Hello, dear friend. I bet you *are* lonely. I don't think I have ever stayed totally by myself for even one night since kids.

About that snake - I did take that photo with the help of zoom, and the snakes were very little. Probably babies. Still. I HATE snakes.

If you're going to sing, get Chris Tomlin's new CD "Hello Love" and sing Jesus, Messiah to the top of your lungs. It will make Him smile. If your voice won't hold out, sing it in the depths of your soul. He'll still smile. Think of it as God making arrangements to have you all to Himself.

Be blessed!

Can you sing, "On A Hill Far Away"? No, just kidding. Glad you are doing better and fun reading about your school adventures. Too bad we can't all come over and keep you company - maybe watch a good movie together.

Blessings!
