Time
Looking at my blog, one would think that laryngitis had also affected my ability to write. Life has just been busy, too busy. Wednesday night was church and on Thursday I went out to dinner with some friends. Each night of my lonely life with my family gone, I tried to get to bed fairly early in order to recuperate from my illness. Early meant somewhere between 10 and 10:30. My parents came Friday night for a short visit. While my parents and I were spending time chatting, John decided not to stay the night in Florida. Instead, with Gabriel's help at the beginning, he drove all night and they arrived home before I was awake on Saturday morning.
My parents' visit was much too short. They dropped by after a ship's reunion in Pennsylvania. They left this morning shortly after I left for another day at school. Tonight, I am at a library. It's Gabriel's first night of drama class for the new school year and I am making good use of my time. "Good use" according to bloggers anyway!

So glad that your family is home with you safe and sound again!
I don't like to be alone very much either for long...
I've enjoyed getting caught up on your family life. Hope you all get settled into your new school year soon. Sounds like it's going to be a busy... but good... one. :-)
:-) A bloggers gotta do, what a bloggers gotta do.
I'm stopping by to catch up. I loved reading about your students although it breaks my heart a little bit. :) I hope you're feeling better soon. I get laryngitis about once a year too, in high school/college it was always before a big speech meet or choral performance. Then later it was always the week of VBS when I was supposed to teach or lead worship. So I can relate to the bad timing! I hope you're all better! :)
