Movies

I rarely see a movie in the theater. I don't think that I have ever seen two, two days in a row. But that's exactly what I did this past weekend. For my birthday, Hannah took me to see Fireproof on Saturday. It's a chick flick with enough action to keep the guys happy. Bring your tissues. Yesterday afternoon John and I took Gabriel and Hannah to see An American Carol. It's a comedy. The kind of slapstick humor that I don't usually care for but it kept me laughing. There was one of place in particular (that I remember) that was unnecessarily crude and a some words that could have been left out. Otherwise, it was a really fun movie. Both of these will be on my Christmas list!

I'm hearing such good things about these two movies. I really can't wait to see them.

Sometimes those dumb, slapstick and sometimes crude movies are good for a good laugh and a little de-stressing time.
