Skating Day and a Blog Party
We were out and about again early this morning. It's roller skating day - or I should say roller blading day. Most kids, including one of my own, have roller blades. I've never tried them and don't know if I want to. The girls were begging me to skate but I adamantly told them, "No, not while daddy's out of the country." I broke my ankle roller skating a few decades ago and I'm not taking any unnecessary risks right now.
On the way home, we stopped at the Dollar Tree for some Valentine's cards. They had a really good selection of the cheapy-give-away-to-everyone variety. Hannah and Holly worked on writing names on theirs for the party next week. The rest of the afternoon has been spent on piddly tasks here and there.
There's not a lot to blog about. Our guys' time in Romania is coming to an end. I'm glad they were able to go but we are ready to have them home. In other news, my mom has started a new blog. Be sure and stop by and say hello. She is painting a prize for me to give away at the upcoming Blog Party.
Thanks to all who have taken my quiz. That was fun!
