Quizes, Quotes and Questions

A busy week is almost over. I subbed yesterday in 4th grade and today in the same special ed class that I was in for so long. This was my second time back in there. It's still a class filled with difficult students but it's much easier to take when I know I don't have to go back anytime soon. Today was shortened by two hours thanks to the freezing rain. I didn't have to be there until after 9.

Right now we are waiting for company to arrive. I hope they are not held up by any bad weather. If I have some time tonight, I'll answer some questions that were asked about my story. Stay tuned!

Voting begins tomorrow for the Quirky Quote Contest. If you did not enter, I hope you will vote for me. ( I like my #13 the best. Hint, hint)

Here's another fun quiz over at Kathleen's. Again, I thought it was a pretty good description for the most part.

What's In Your Bible?

Halfmoon Girl asked what was in our Bible. While I don’t have anything taped to the inside cover, I do have a page that is loose and needs to be taped in. I haven’t done it because I don’t want it to turn yellow. Neither do I want a new Bible. I’ve had this one for years and it’s comfortable and familiar. It tends to be a file cabinet, containing weekly bulletins that really need to be tossed and keepsake snowflakes lovingly cut out by a sweet little girl. I also have a quote tucked in the pages of my Bible. I do not know the author but it is a saying that I frequently need to be reminded of.

We have to keep in mind that the enemy will use carnal and physical things, anything to hurt us, to wound us, but spiritual warfare is spiritual. What I have to do is learn to return fire spiritually.
