Taking it Easy

I usually come home from school pretty tired, even if I do get to bed early. John told me to rest so I'm doing what I love best - spending time with my family. Better than reading. Better than blogging! Have a great evening everyone!!

Rest for Your Souls

Here in the Woodward household, boxes abound and muscles are screaming for a hot bath. We are not done with packing but we must be soon as the bill of lading needs to be completed quickly and then translated. Bill of lading should be bill of laden.

laden – (verb) to load oppressively; burden

(adjective) burdened; loaded down

That is about how we feel right now. The children have reached the point that they would rather do school. We have been so blessed with their help. I know this time will end soon. My dad told me during another move years ago and my friend Cynthia reminded me today, “It’s just stuff.” Yes it is. Right now, I just need to trust my Savior who said,

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
