Telling Time
My computer cannot tell time and it’s frustrating me to no end. OK, maybe computers aren’t supposed to tell time but they should be able to keep it, right? I have always been a little considerably completely obsessive compulsive when it comes to time. I expect all the clocks and watches in the house to have the same time – the correct time. Modern technology makes this increasingly difficult with a clock on every electronic device. In recent months, my obsessive compulsive tendency has left me frustrated. My watch battery died and we kept forgetting to get it replaced. We bought a new to us car and the clock was set on central time. So we tried to change it. Now, instead of being an hour behind, it’s just way off. AND, my computer clock can’t keep time. I set it and a few days later it’s fast or slow by 5 to 10 minutes. This really throws my day off, not to mention my usual easy going attitude. I’m depending on the computer clock, rush to the car with the incorrect time and have no watch because I constantly forget to buy a battery. There is help for my timepieces even if there’s not for my obsessive compulsiveness. John bought my watch battery today. The car manual does have instructions for setting the clock, if I can find time to read it. Now if I could only figure out how to make my computer keep time.
